For fans who’ve been waiting for their Hogwarts letter since they were 11 years old, Harry Potter Wizards Unite wasn’t just a mobile game. It was their chance to be a Wizard. For real. So we didn’t advertise an augmented reality mobile game. We announced a real wizarding calamity, and called all ‘Wizards’ for help.
Maintaining the high levels of craft true to the franchise, we clashed the wizarding world with ‘the muggle’, real modern world, and let the growing community work together to work out what was going on.
